A contractor from work finally talked me into going on a group ride with his Star Touring and Riding group. I figured it would be a good opportunity to get to know new people and ride. My first group ride was like being thrown to the wolves. LOL The group started off with about 15-20 bikes until our first stop. We met up with 2 other groups at a gas station about 80 miles out. The groups merged as one and the numbers grew to about 40+. The bikes went for ever it seemed like. It was a trip to the Ironton, Ohio bike rally. Stopped for lunch at Hillbilly Hotdog for lunch then to the hotel.
After dinner we all jumped a cab van to the rally. Had a few beers, listened to some tunes, and did a little motorcycle accessory shopping. Get night with a good group of people. This was just the beginning.
